Le Son Des Collines

This acoustic panel is a setup up of a technical acoustic absorber sandwich-panel. The panel’s exterior skin is based on concave and convex thermoformed surfaces with slot-openings and natural fibre fleece in the core. The geometries are reached through vacuum-assisted thermoforming process of natural fibre reinforced thermoplastic bio-comopsite panels, then the slot-openings are reached through CNC-milling. The panels are extruded using single or double screw extruders and the whole system can be completely recycled or composted if recycling is not feasible. The product can have the same pale brown natural colour of the fibres or any pigmented colour after the user’s preference. Le Son Des Collines can be applied in cladding systems, false-ceiling or in free-standing acoustic partitions.
