Biramid
The Biramid is an acoustic absorber panel consisting of three successive layers with different perforations patterns. The upper layer is thermoformed in two pyramids forms, allowing the presence of an air gap of 7 cm depth to enhance the whole sandwich panel’s acoustic absorption capability. Depending on the trapped air, an effective range of low and high frequency sound waves are successfully absorbed. The two void volumes underneath the pyramids were translated into cavity resonators. The layers are composed of two natural fibre reinforced elastic thermoplastic (NFRP) panels and one rigid NFRP in the back of the sandwich panel. The whole panel is completely recyclable and compostable. It can be applied in false ceilings, partitions and cladding systems.
