Cube Comb
Cube Comb is a sandwich panel with integrated acoustic absorption and thermal insulation properties. The external layer is composed of thermoformed interlocking inverted cubes with their edges linked downwards to the surface of a foamed bioplastic material that is newly developed. The newly developed biofoam is of density lying between 45 kg/m³, (free expansion) – 50-130 kg/m³ (pent-up plate) with thermal insulation properties. The inverted cubes on the top of the panel are responsible of allowing the presence of an air gap that is activated when sound waves passes through it via the perforations present on the inverted cubes’ surfaces. This product offer a suitable solution for sanitary applications as well for different inner applications, including cladding systems, false ceilings and different light-weight interior fittings. Cube comb can be recycled or industrially composted.
Cube Comb ist eine Sandwichplatte mit integrierten akustik-absorbierenden und wärmedämmenden Eigenschaften. Die äußere Schicht besteht aus verzahnten, tiefgezogenen umgekehrten Kuben, deren Ränder nach unten hin mit einem neu entwickelten aufgeschäumten Biokunststoff verbunden sind. Der neu entwickelte Biokunststoff weist eine Dichte von 45kg/m3 (freie Expansion) – 50-130kg/m3 (gespannte Platte) auf und besitzt wärmedämmende Eigenschaften. Die umgedrehten Kuben auf der Oberseite der Platte können durch eine Oberflächenperforation Luft hindurchlassen und somit Schall einfach absorbieren. Das Produkt bietet eine geeignete Lösung sowohl für sanitäre Anwendungen als auch für Innenraumanwendungen, einschließlich Verkleidungssystemen, Zwischendecken und verschiedene leichtgewichtige Inneneinrichtungen. Cube Comb kann recycelt werden oder industriell kompostiert werden.
